The Council Supports Texas Masonry Council Efforts

Brett Packer, Chairman of the DFW Brick Council, presents a check for $6,500 to Rudy Garza, Executive Vice-President of the Texas Masonry Council, in support of strengthening and expanding Masonry Ordinances in North Texas.  Mr. Garza was the featured speaker at the Council Meeting in Arlington on February 16, 2012. Garza updated the Council on his work in North Texas and the Texas Masonry Council’s program of work for 2011-2012. Garza said there are 86 Masonry Ordinances in the DFW Metroplex, which is the most by far than any other area of the state or the nation.

Packer thanked Garza for his efforts and recognized that all the members and associated members of the DFW Brick Council have benefitted from these ordinances over the past 20 years. “We look forward to continuing to work together to create beautiful, sustainable communities that we all can be proud of for decades to come”, Packer said.
